Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Karavalamba Stotram was composed by Sri Adi Sankaracharya. Many also worship Lord Narasimha as family Deity and Ishta devata. Lord Narasimha is also spelled as Narasingh, Narsingh and Narasingha. Lord Narasimha swamys head is lion and body is of a man.
Lord Narasimha is the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu to save his devotee Prahalada from the clutches of his demon father Hiranyakashipu.
